so, at work today, i was working as usual. there was a few people from a cleaning company who were also there (since our store in a few hours!), and one of the guys was trying to clean something near the ceiling in a really stupid way. i happened to glance over, just looking around cuz our store's really pretty, and i happened to catch his eye for a split second randomly. then, he said to his fellow caucasian co-worker, 'she must be thinking, "dumb americans!"' i don't know why, but why do American people automatically assume that Asians don't speak English? AGH, anger. :(

ps. on friday (june11), my boyfriend drove up from maryland to new jersey to see me. i had an amazing day <3

this is such a unique idea for a calendar..

apparently, the ink slowly absorbs into the calendar as the day goes by..

and then, the ink also reacts to heat,

so as the months change, the color of the ink change too..

(i took this picture on friday..) my friday was so funfilled...in one day, i went to the Baltimore Aquarium, went to Harris Crab House and Seafood Restaurant and had my first batch of legitimate Maryland crabs and my first crabcake (so delicious), went to a TASA event, and then went to a pretty nice party. :]

yesterday, i had a talk with my friend, and after we had that talk, i've realized i need a lot of improvements to become the person i want to be. time for me to grow up, for real this time. i've told myself that multiple times, but i kept bullshitting myself. no more of that, hopefully.

therefore, i've decided to come with a few lists..
mental to do's:
-work on my self-esteem (meanwhile, stop caring about what others think)
-be more assertive
-stop acting like a six-year-old child
-stop being a pushover
-focus on schoolwork (less going out!)
-NO MORE PROCRASTINATING, ugh.
-be more open-minded
-stop finding loopholes in my promises
-be more appreciate to nature's little surprises
-work on not being overemotional

physical to-dos:
-bring up my grades so that i can begin planning to double major
-find a summer job, and save the majority of the earned money
-start building up my resume somehow..
-find volunteer opportunities
-slowly improve on my Chinese skills
-network with more people
-go to the gym once in a while, so i won't into a blob..
